Customer service here is very kind and thoughtful. Sounded like a family owned business and the owner recently passed away. The food looked and smelled amazing, but the pizza was a bit disappointing for the price $54; undercooked and OK sauce. I settled on 4 stars because of the good customer service and the hope that it’s just transitional issues. I’m excited to try it again once they are back in full swing!

This is a Syrian-style gem in Scottsdale. Twice I have been here and treated like family. We had pizza, babaganoush, and grape leaves. Each dish is crafted with love and care. The babaganoush was smokey and garlicky, the grape leaves were tender. I liked the new York style pizza crust. I was also informed they have a booth at uptown farmer's market, where they regularly sell out of their items. No surprise, the food is amazing and served with a smile!

My son and I found this restaurant by just a quick search. We are so happy we did. The atmosphere was very quaint. The food is fresh and made to order. The owner was so friendly and engaging even after experiencing a break-in and theft of money and damaged property. He told us about his history of learning to cook and his experience. His tzatziki sauce is the real deal! Absolutely delicious! He was concerned how our meal tasted. We ordered a gyro plate and then ordered gyros because we wanted more of the sauce. We also ordered a pizza to take home for dinner. We don't live in Arizona, but we will most definitely will be returning next time we are in town.

Plain and simple: Pizza and Grill is a no-frills, all-halal food joint that does away with any gimmicks to serve delicious, fresh food. We ordered the supreme pizza and wings, both of which came piping hot out of the oven and fryer, respectively. The pizza had a robust sauce, plenty of cheese, delicious toppings, and a light crust. The wings were skin-on and fried to perfection, perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Alongside the great food, we got excellent hospitality from the owner and chef. There was a wide variety of drink options. The restaurant is small, but kept in excellent condition and is very cozy and comfortable. Bottom line: if you're looking for a great dining experience and fresh, delicious food, you will be satisfied at Pizza and Grill.

An unassuming little place off Scottsdale Rd, I stopped by here twice while on a business trip. The food was so good I couldn't just go once, and the owner really cares for his customers - which feels rare these days. I got the supreme pizza (which is halal!) and the biryani (at the owner's recommendation!) and both were delicious, with generous portions. I recommend this place very much, and I will certainly stop by again if I'm ever in the area again in the future.
